    It is basically the same 20 teams each week who play and I wanted my form to look like this

    Kenley Town <box> V <box>Purley City

    The box is where the score goes each week however I do not want to keep having to type out the games every week to get the results. Is it possible to have drop down list of all the teams in one box then box for scores  ??

    Thanks

    I have checked the form in your account and base on what you have explained in your post, you would like to have a way to easily update the matches per week. Although there is no way we can make the "field question" a dropdown box so you can choose the teams from there to set the matches easily, there is a workaround that would actually work the same.

    What you need to do is add 20 drop-downs boxes that have all the teams listed as an option on each drop down. These 20 drop-down fields represent each team. Name each field according to the matches. For example, HOME1 and AWAY1 are for Match1/1Game1 and HOME2 and AWAY2 are for Match2/Game2 and so on. These drop-down boxes should also be set hidden in the form.

    Next, add 10 textbox fields that would represent each match.

    The field label of each textbox will be a combination of {UNIQUE NAME}s of two drop-down fields depending on the match they belong. For Example, Home1 and Away1 belong to Game1. So the field label of Game1 textbox would appear like this: {home1} vs {away1}

    Here's how you can get the Unique Name of a field:

    Here's how it should look like after:

    Once you've done that, you need to set a default selection for the drop-down fields to indicate the matches before you save the form. You will do this every time you make changes with the games weekly.

    Thank you.

    Wow that is fantastic and saved me a huge amount of time experimenting. I really appreciate the time and effort you put in with the reply. I also think this Jotform site is great and wish it had been around years ago when I first started doing these sort of competitions. Once again thank you very much
