Submission Page: Missing data, AUDIT and AUDIT OLD DATE should have data when form is APPROVED

Asked by kdevine on August 05, 2016 at 04:11 PM

The form entitled ProSource: Inspiration Submissions (Redux) is the cause of concern. We ran an internal audit on every one of these projects marked as Approved -- or 1,700+. We had a radio button field for Audit whereby we were indicating whether we liked/didn't like the photo. This information is imperative to us, and it took nearly a month to complete the process. Now more than half the submissions aren't showing that data. We know it was there when we completed the audit around May 24.

Please help us retrieve this, even if it means reverting to the May 24 file on the site. We truly need this information from the massive project we undertook.

To assist you better could you please indicate exactly which field you are having problems with.

I have just reviewed your form and noticed two possible fields

I'm assuming it is the LOADED INTO SITECORE and not APPROVAL. Can you please confirm and we will be glad to see how we can help.

No, it's the two fields above that -- Audit and Audit: Older Date. See attached.

Thank you for clarifying this. I have just reviewed some of the records and did find some submission with these fields being empty.

I would also like to confirm again. Since this fields are not required, is it possible to have them accidentally left blank? I'm assuming not but would like to confirm. Is it also possible if you can send as a sample of a record that is empty but should have a value.

I will be glad to forward it to our back end team so they can check and restore your data.

We manually went thru and marked these ourselves. All Approved forms -- 1,700+ -- had one of the Audit radio buttons selected in May when we completed the process. The only ones that should have been blank were marked as Rejected in the Approval field, although some of them might have had it too if we goofed and reviewed those photos. But all Approved submissions had an Audit option selected. We know this because we did a count when we finished. We didn't save the spreadsheet because we had the data save din JotForm, so it didn't seem necessary. Turns out it was necessary.

Thank for all the information. Again, sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. I have created a ticket for our back-end team. They will review all the information that you have given and will see how we can restore all the data.

If I understand correctly, this fields (AUDIT and AUDIT:OLD DATE) should have values when the APPROVAL field is not rejected.

As soon as we have any update, we will immediately inform you.

I haven't heard back in 14 days, and this is IMPORTANT information. We spent days performing that audit and now the information's missing. We need it back. Please advise!

The ticket has been assigned to a developer and given a rather high priority.  Unfortunately, it looks like they have not yet had a chance to address it.  Apologies for the delay.  We will let you know as soon as it has been attended to.
