Can I connect a PDF form to JotForm manually so that JotForm handles the submissions?

    Hi Jot Form Team,

first of all: thank you for providing such a great platform.

What I am trying to set up is an existing PDF Form that gets handled through JotForm

Now when I upload my form, the Submit button is created and placed on the left low corner of my PDF.

I want it on the right and label it in German. Thats why I thought it best to manually change the original Form so that it connects with JotForm. Is that possible?

Or what is the best way to create a PDF form that works with JotForm when the user opens the PDF in a browser?

So far I also could not get you automatically created file to work. When I fill out the PDF and click Submit, nothing arrives in JotForm portal...

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Best

    Lutz

If you make changes on the form online using our Form Builder, the fillable PDF will NOT be updated automatically. The reason is that this fillable PDF file that you created before is an offline version of the form. It means that you need to create an online form and then convert it to a fillable PDF if you need to change the layout.

We currently don't have any issues in regards to creating a fillable PDF form. I was able to convert my forms into a PDF file.

    Please check these helpful guides:

    Hope that helps. Thank you.
