How to identify widget type already added in form?Asked by derickdavis on August 08, 2016 at 09:58 AM
How can I identify the name of a widget control to use it elsewhere?
When I'm creating new forms, I often want to use a previously used widget control, but I cannot remember the specific name to add it to the new form. When I go back to a previous form that it was used on, I'd like to be able to identify the name of widget so I can add it to a new form.
You can load your form in editor and then click on the wizard icon after selecting the widget. The wizard window will display the name of the widget. You can also click on the properties of the widget and it will display the widget name. Please check the screenshot below:
Hope this helps.

But not all controls seem to have the "wizard" icon as shown here:

It's called the Auto Complete widget: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/autocomp. It's one of our regular fields before but was moved into the widget section.
