You will get a pop up window like the one shown below, the you can simply click on the "Forward Submission" button if you do not need any change made on it.
Also, make sure the "To" is the email address you've updated as recipient.

Thank you. If we don't want the email address showing who sent it, can we have the submissions be resent to the emails as if they were new submissions?

Yes, I just have found that this can be achieved editing the existing submission.
Once you've changed the recipient email address, go to the submissions page and edit those submissions that you want to re-send.
Once you are on edit mode simply click on the submit button without changing anything:
This should trigger an email notification, it should be sent to the email addresses set up as recipient, so if you have already changed the recipient email address in the Form Builder this updated email address should receive the email.
