How to get form ID

So why is the form id a secret with no information about how to find from id?

I hope I have understand your question correctly. Your form ID is a long numbers at the end part of your form URL. To get it, open your form on the form builder, click preview, open in new tab and copy the long numbers at the end part of your form URL. Check this screen:

After opening in New Tab, you can now then copy the form ID on the address bar.
