Thank you for contacting us. With the Send Post data feature of Jotform you can configure your form to send the submissions post data to a custom php page which will then save the information onto your own database.

    To enable send post data:

    1.  Go to Setup & Embed tab
    2.  Click the Preferences button
    3.  Click Advanced Settings tab
    4.  Select Yes in the Send Post Data dropdown

    1. Create a "test.php" on your site and put this code in it:

    2. Go to "Setup & Share" -> "Thank You" -> "Custom URL" and enter

The following article on our userguide provides more information on how
    this works:

Let us know if you need any clarifications.

In addition to what my colleague has suggested you, kindly refer to this guide  in order to see a detailed instruction, about how to insert your submissions into your external  MySql database using PHP.

I will be grat to have (paid?) function, to create a full insert script and mysql code for creating database and table  for saving form result into external (my own) database based on form layout. I checked your guide, but it is really complicated to create PHP script and sql script for large forms.

By selecting SendPostData YES JOTform will create script for creating MySQL database + table, and generate PHP insert script

I think that something similar will be possible once we release Jotform API. However, we can not provide any ETA at this time.

Please note that you can see all the submitted data on form Submissions page.

From that Submissions page you can also download your data in a CSV file, and then you may try to import it into your MySQL database.

Another  possible solution is to get licensed Jotform Application, so that you will have complete control over your data with access to submissions database.

Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.

Is there any way to have greater control over the layout of the submissions pages? I have a pay version, and I'd like the submission pages to have the same layout/look as the document I've created (it's an employment application.) The current submissions show up in a vertical format for every entry, but on the jotform I've created, I used the shrink feature so some of the items can be on the same line and save paper. Also, can you control the page size of the submissions pages? If they must be vertical in the submissions layout, I'd like to print them using legal size paper instead of 2-3 printer paper.

We are happy to announce that we have released Jotform Webhooks,  this feature would replace Send Post Data + Custom URL Thank You Page workaround in order to help you transfer forms data to your own database using your own script codes.

Thank you for using JotForm. :)
