I was wondering if there is a way I can add an external word document file to the form I've created on Jotform. I am trying to add a roster sheet to the application form I have created in order for participants in large groups to include everyone in their and so that they are able to send me back the roster sheet itself. Is this function possible at all?

Yes, you can provide a download link to the word document (roster sheet) for your users to download, and then ask your users to upload the filled out word document back inside their submission.

In order to provide your users with a downloadable link to your external file, you can use our Text field, and include your download link there:

After that, your users can upload back their filled out document to you through the File Upload field:

While this is a way for your users to get the external file, fill it out, and submit their filled out copy of the file back to you, depending on your exact needs it may be easier to ask for this information directly on the form - without using an external file.

If the number of people will be different in each group that submits your form, you can use one of our dynamically expanding widgets such as the Configurable List or Infinite List widgets to collect the roster data:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-your-Form

Configurable List widget can be made to ask several pieces of information per row, and your users can create any number of rows they need. The following guide contains more information about setting up the Configurable List widget:

I hope this helps, please let us know if you need any further assistance or if you run into any issues along the way while setting it up. Cheers
