    Quantity Gift Registry fails to load

    Every time i try to insert a "Quantity Gift Registry"-widget, it fails and tells me to run the wizard

    Based on your screenshot, you are editing your form on Microsoft Edge browser. I tried to add a Quantity Gift Registry widget on one of my test form using Microsoft Edge but I was not able to replicate the issue.

     I was able to add the Quantity Gift Registry widget on my test form.

     

    Please try to delete your existing Quantity Gift Registry widget in your form and then add a new one and see if you will now be able to add the widget properly. If the issue still persists, please try to edit your form on a different browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. We do recommend you to use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox in editing your forms to avoid such issues. JotForm Form Builder works best on Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser.

    First of all, thank you for your help.

    I've tried editing/deleting and resetting it in Chrome and Firefox but the same problem keeps recurring. Even before I try to personalize the widget, I can see it tells me to run the wizard.

    I've made a different -but comparable- form 3 days ago, withe Edge, and I didn't have this problem: https://form.jotformeu.com/62253523756356

    I checked your form again and it seems that you have already added the Quantity Gift Registry in your form properly.

    The issue you encountered might be temporary only and the issue is now fixed.

    Actually, they're 2 different forms. The form you took a screenshot of, works -as you say- perfectly.

    I just showed you the form I made earlier with the same widget.

    Hi,

    I checked your form and the Quantity Gift Registry widget is not in the form even if I view in the Form Builder.

     

    Can you please try adding the widget again so we can see what the problem is?

    Hi,

    I checked your form and the widget only loads the text "Please Run the Wizard" both in the Form Builder and in the form's preview.

    I cloned your form and I was able to successfully add a Quantity Gift Registry widget that loads. Have you tried cloning your form and adding the Quantity Gift Registry widget to your cloned form? Please let us know.

    After cloning, I had the same issue.

    Now suddenly, the widgets loads but doesn't work properly. The counter doesn't work...

    Please note that you have setup items on your Quantity Gift Registry widgets as blank.

    Here, you can see that you have set it up without actually having an item name on it, you just added a quantity. 

    Now this is the same with the other widgets.

    Here's my simple form: https://form.jotform.com/62345141744957. You can test it, there's no item name on it, just the quantity and I have setup the same on other widgets. You can see that if you make a submission, the counter does not change, this is because the widget cannot identify the selected item in the list, because it is blank.

     

    Now try editing the widgets, try adding a valid item name on it, here's an example, I added the item name "item 1" then just beside it is the available quantity {10}.

    This is how it looks like:

     

    You can test this form that has the item name on the widget, you can see that the available quantity is now updating: https://form.jotform.com/62345850979974 

    So basically, the problem is the blank item names, please do make sure to name them for the widget to work as expected.

    Let us know if that resolves the problem.
