I want to be notified when an email has been opened or deleted without forcing the recipient to respond. Is that possible?

Unfortunately we do not have a widget or app with this feature as of yet. But you can probably make use of 3rd party services, such as Contact Monkey. 

Let me also submit a feature request for this. However, I cannot guarantee that this can be implemented anytime soon. But as soon as we have this feature, we'll inform you right away.
