    CSS codes are somewhat exclusive based on the design and the references used. The ID or the class used on a form can be different from the other. This is the reason why the code you found will not work on your form.

    Can you tell us from which thread you found this code? or can you please provide to us more information on what you wish to do with your header. (My apologies for not understanding your title "Header flush with the edge")

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks so much for getting back to me.
    Here is the link to my form
    What I would really like to be able to do is use the pink/purple one and have it so it covers the whole of the top part of the paper and then to be able to add text on top. Is this possible?

    Hello Katie,

    How about using the image as a form cover? You can set it on the Advanced Form Designer

    Once the form designer loads, click Form Cover, under the DESIGN tab and upload your image there. Next, set your width and height, remove the margin at the bottom and you're done.

    Save the design and you're good to go.

    Here is a sample result of the form I cloned from you: https://form.jotform.com/62321001744946

    If you need assistance, please let us know.

    I’ve just tried to do that with a different form…but I must have done something wrong as I want the image to be in back ground with the header text on top…
    BTW thank you so much for your help….your customer service is fantastic!

    Thank you for the kind remark, Katie! :)

    Now if you also would like to use the image as a background as well. I think here's a better alternative -- replace your injected CSS code with this:

    .form-all {
       background-image: url("https://www.jotform.com/uploads/liyam/form_files/Mothers_Banner_logo_1_.png");
       background-size: 902px 150px;
       background-repeat: no-repeat;

    This is the result: https://form.jotform.com/62323059214953

    Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance or if you have more questions. :)
