Is a JotForm form secure, even if the website / web page that it's embedded in isn't secure?

    Hi JotForm,

I've embedded a form (which I understand is secure by default) on my website (http://olddogsnewdigs.com/form-adoption.html), which does not have an SSL certificate or dedicated IP address. Is the data transmitted through the form still secure?

    Thank you.

Yes, you can embed the form in a non-secure webpage. However, please take note that only the form is secured and not the webpage.

When your secure web form is submitted, it will be transmitted securely to our servers. The only problem with this is that your webpage will not show a secure lock icon beside the URL.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, let us know. Thank you.
