pass field entry to new form

Asked by cwmn on August 23, 2016 at 12:48 PM

creating a sign up sheet for a bean bag tournament, the form is limited to 64 entries. some people want to submit a partner's name. If I just add a second name blank to the form the submission is counted as 1 submission only. If I add a radio button saying 'Add a partner - Yes/No" I can forward them to a blank form instead of the Thank You but how can I link the two separate submissions as wanting to be partners? Is there a way to pass the first name to the new form?

Thinking about this more, if submit sends them to a new form the submission still doesn't count toward my total submission on the original form. Back to the drawing board. Any ideas?

I think your requirement can be achieve by pre-populating your second form, from first form's data.

I would suggest you, to please check the below guide, which explains, how to pass Form Data to Another Form:
