Add newsletter sign up form to Bigcommerce site front page.

Hi - I also posted this in the forum as I wasn't sure the best place to ask!

I would like to add a form that comes up on my big commerce front page when someone first visits my site. I have seen the info on how to add a contact us page, but am not sure how to get a form on the front page?I would like it to be a "sign up to our newsletter" type pop up.

Ideally if this could somehow have a setting that once they have visited the site and/or filled out the form, that the pop up does not continue each time they visit...

I believe you can use the Lightbox embed method to achieve your requirement. Simply copy the lightbox code and paste that code on your Bigcommerce front page editor. To get the lightbox code, simply follow this guide: How to Create a Lightbox Form

The embed code provided to you will have a button that the user can click to view the pop-up. If you want to automatically open a lightbox after a page is loaded, then you can follow our guide here: How to Auto-popup a Lightbox Form

It is possible to use cookies so that the form will only pop-up during the first time that a user visits your page on their browser. However, please note that you will need access to a PHP enabled Webserver for your page to achieve this effect. Simply follow this guide to learn how Using cookies to auto-open a lightbox form per browser session.
