    Capability to delete only specific submission data assigned to a user

    My question really revolves around the fact that we have ONE manager (with the delete all password), but we have several supervsiors beneath him who apparently have the ability to delete individual submission, as they deem fit. I wanted to know if there is any means of determining WHICH person may delete a submission; or eliminate the supervisors abilities to delete ANY submission.  Thanks


    Sorry...the supervisors must have the ability to edit the submissions. Does that eliminate the ability to do what I'm asking?

    If you make the Supervisors only a sub-user accounts you can control them to have View option only.

    The Manager can have full access.

    My apologies...the supervisors DO have to have the ability to edit the submissions.

    The ability to edit submissions comes with the ability to delete them as well. So the person that has the ability to edit a submission, can also delete that submission.

    When a sub account is shared access to your submissions, they can delete them.

    The only way to make sure that your supervisors cannot delete your submissions, is to share with them only a specific edit link for the submission that they are allowed to edit. You can send them an edit link through means such as an email notification:


    You can add the Edit Link to your email notification by clicking on the Form Fields button, and then on Edit Link:

    Now, if your submissions on a specific form need to be reviewed by a different manager each time, we can set up conditional logic on email notifications, so that the email is sent only to its intended supervisor, based on a selection made on your form:


    By performing the above, each of your supervisors could only access and edit those submissions for which they receive the edit link in their email.
