Visual Multi Select: Ability to specify default pre-selected items

Is there anyway you can pre select some of the choices for customers.

We have a large list and we want to pre-select as default items, and they would have a choice to add other items to it or remove some of the default items.

Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to pre-select values in Visual Multi Select widget. Are you referring to the List A of your form? I think the workaround you thought of was to consider the items in the left of the widget as pre-selected values where user can unselect each of them by moving each of them to the right. The only fallback is that your option is either to make all the items pre-selected or none at all.

I will forward a feature request for you so that the ability to specify pre-selected items for Visual Multi Select widget. However, I cannot give you a timeframe for when this will be implemented. We will inform you once it has been worked out.
