Hi!
This is my first time using your website, and I am having an issue. When I am in the editing screen of my jot form, everything looks great and the template (picture of a forest in the background) is working. When I go into "Preview" though, it all goes away.
Please help, as I need to get this fixed ASAP.
Thank you!
Halle

Hi,
Thank you for your interest in using our form builder :)
To further help you, here are some information that will help you understand how our tool works.
Themes and templates are different.
Templates => These are just pre-made forms, you cannot apply them on your existing form, instead, you can copy or clone them to have a copy of it in your account.
Here's a screenshot showing one of the templates in the templates page. When I click the "Use Template", it will clone it and open in the form builder.
Here's my form builder, you can see that the template is now here, you can edit it and setup your own fields. Make sure to click the save button to save it in your account:
Now navigate away on the form editor, click the "My Forms" page. You can see your list of forms here. You can see that the "Contact Form" that we cloned earlier is now in our account:
So basically, templates are just pre-made forms that you can clone/copy.
Themes => These are designs that you can apply to your existing forms. You can check our Themes Store to see the different designs you can apply on the form as a whole.
Now everyone can create themes, we have paid and free themes. Some web designers are creating themes and sell them here. Here's an example paid theme:
You can also just apply the themes by opening the form in the form builder/editor then click the "Themes" button. Here's a screencast showing how I apply themes on the cloned form that we have earlier:
To get familiar with our form builder, I strongly suggest checking the following links:
I hope that helps. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us here in the forum.
