Print link on e-mail

    Instead of an "edit link" on a notification e-mail, can I have a "print link"? So the recipient of the e-mail clicks on the link and the form opens ready to print? This link should NOT point to the PDF version of the form (the formatting is no adequate to our needs). It shold point to the version you get when you press the "Print" button in the submissions page (more adequate formatting).

    I found the following options:

    Are there others ways to link to a submission (something like

    It is actually possible to put the Print Form button to the form itself, so that clickable edit link will point user to the ready to print form.

    I have already provided instructions in the previous thread.

    Thank you for using our services!

    Thank you for the instructions on the other thread. However, this is not what I'm looking for. I think I have not explained properly or maybe I expressed myself wrong, sorry. What I meant by "Print button" is: You login to JotForm, go to the "Submissions" page and there are 2 buttons there: "Get PDF" and "Print". Using this print button is the only way I found to make the "auto hide empty fields" worlk, also IMO it prints with a better formatting (looks more professional). However, having our operational employees to log in to JotForm website, locate the form and print usign this button would be very problematic. If there was a direct link to print the form (with this formatting and the "auto hide empty fields" working) in the notification e-mail, it would solve the problem.

    We could include an edit link in the notification e-mail, click it an then click on a print button in the form, however the result is very different, IMO the document is not properly formatted when printed this way, it's like using the print function in the web browser: it shows the sublabels, the buttons and other elements that are not supposed to be in a printed form.

    Unfortunately, there is no feature available.  But let me forward this to the next tier support and see if there's a special URL that can be used for printing submissions which has the same result as the PDF files generated from the submissions page.

    Thank you for your patience.

    @marcy davila,

    This thread is quite old and dated back way 2012. There are a lot of updates and changes made after that time. I would advise that you open a new thread and provide us the details of what you would like to achieve, we may have a new feature of function that might help you. Here's a link on how to open a new thread:

    Thank you.
