Edited submission not updating in google spreadsheet integration

I have a form linked to a google spreadsheet. When a submitted form is editied by the user it does not seem to update the entry in the integrated google spreadsheet. Is this the expected behavior? If so how can I make sure that the spreadsheet has the updated information?

The Google Spreadsheet is supposed to update the entries automatically, so there might be some issue related to your form or to the integration.

I cloned your form and I integrated it in my Google Spreadsheet. I edited the form submission and the spreadsheet updated as well. Here's a screen capture that it is working properly on my end:

Please try to redo the Google Spreadsheet integration. Please take note that if you redo the integration, a new spreadsheet will be created.

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

Tried to redo the integration, but still not working.

I really enjoy using Jotform, and the possibility to integrate with Google Sheets is really nice for a non-programmer as me to make some tools for our company, but sadly the integration seems anything else than robust and consistent.

One day it is all working the next day, a weird bug occurs, like this one right now.

Sometimes its not updating, at least not until several hours later.

I must admit, that I have looked for alternatives out there more than a handfull of times, but haven't found any yet, so thats why I am sticking to Jotform - for now

All other seems to rely on a Zapier integration, which is fine, but not when trying to get data in real-time, like within seconds.

So Jotform! -here is my prayer:

Plz, try and make this widget into the ultimate robust and reliable piece of software, that a business can put its trust into.

I have so many things that I want to digitalize with this, but some things are just to critical, for me to take a change with this integrations widget.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. I currently could not reproduce the same issue when I test google spreadsheet integration using my form. But it is possible that it is happening on your form.

So to better identify where the caused of issue could be, please try this steps.

#1 Redo again the integration to Google spreadsheet on your form that have the issue.

#2 Tell us the URL of your form

#3 Share to us the URL to your google spreadsheet used in the integration.

You can do this using the Share option in your google docs for that spreadsheet. Make sure to select the option in sharing the option "Anyone with the link" -- this way we can view only the google doc spreadsheet.

Once we have access to #2 and #3 we will be able to test submit your form and then check if it updates on the shared google spreadsheet.

We will wait for your updated response.

    Thanks.
