How do you create a form with a customizable field for donations

On this form, when we click on credit card online and paypal, we allow individuals to donate to the PTA.  We currently use a drop down menu of options.  The complain is that this is very restrictive.  Is it possible to have a blank field where we allow users/individuals to write-in their desired amounts?  The widget somehow limits my ability to do so.  Here is the form:

    Please kindly assist.

Yes it is possible to achieve your requirement. Here are the steps you should follow:

#1. Instead of displaying the membership options in the PayPal question, you can add the products in a check box question.

#2. Add a text box to collect the donation amount.

#3. Add a "Form Calculation" widget in your form to calculate the total amount of membership and donation.

#4. Add PayPal payment question in your form and set it to read the amount from the calculation widget. The following guide should help you how to pass calculation to PayPal payment question:  http://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field
