    Warning message before sending form

Asked by procesos on August 30, 2016 at 04:14 PM

    JotForm equipment,

I need your help in knowing whether it is possible to make a message "Are you sure you want to send your request" or something like that, before the Board Index form make your submission by pressing the "send" button or appear as such if there is any other way to do this? ... contained a warning message before the form is submitted.

I remain attentive to your comments, thank you very much.

You can also use the Preview Before Submit widget to achieve this.

Yeah, it's very good that option now if the user of the form uses the keyboard, ie press "Enter" to sending the form, the action on the screen that tells me "Have Warning before sending form" is not , ie, it is sent equally ... is there any way around that. It happens that my clients do not press the button with the mouse pointer, but press the "enter" key .... have any idea how I can do in that case?

    I remain attentive, thank you.

Thank you for providing more details. You are right, I just noticed as well that you can press Enter key and the preview widget option can be bypassed.

I think its a glitch on the widget. So I will notify our developer about this glitch so they can check also.

I'll look for a workaround to compensate temporarily for that glitch. I'll get back as soon as I have update about it.

    Thanks.

I apologize for the delays. I had the ticket about the Preview widget glitch that allows it to bypass the preview function when using keyboard entry (not using the Submit button) here.

We will update you once the glitch is fixed.

The alternative I come up with is using a required validation field to alert the user with agreement before they can submit the form.

It is just a basic Checkbox field. I used CSS to style it in such way.

You can also clone the form https://form.jotform.com/62508466660965 so you can review it on your Form Builder.
