    Rows in email auto-responder template gets resuffled after insert/edit of rows

    This is kind of weird and frustrating.  Try this many times and able to duplicate.

     

    This is what I want, blue prints in good order:

    After I save the form and come back again to check on test email, NG, C & D line got moved:

    I cloned your form and created a new Autoresponder based on your table. Unfortunately during my tests, I was unable to replicate your issue. I sent several test emails and all of them had the same output as the one I set in the Autoresponder wizard.

    I deleted some of the fields and combined others, but the new rows (A,B,C,D) remained in their places. I see that this is not the case on your autoresponder, as based on your screenshot, the rows do seem to have shuffled in their places. 

    Did you perhaps add or remove a field in your form after you have setup the Autoresponder? This may have caused the details in the autoresponder to reshuffle, since the result needed to be updated. I was only able to replicate the issue after removing some of the fields. Upon removal of some of the fields in the form, the autoresponder now looks like the image below.

    To avoid this, I would suggest you first finalize the fields in your form, and after you finalize it and you're sure that no fields will be removed or added, you should then be able to modify the Autoresponder table without any issues.

    If this is not the case for you, then please let us know so we can do some further tests.

    What you described is true. There were instances that I updated my form slightly such as adding a text or something, nothing major and autoresponder is reshuffled.  But if this is true then that means I cannot update my form after finalizing autoresponder or I need to create an autoresponder all over again each time I update my form?

    In the screenshots I sent, I did not update my form and yet fields in autoresponder got reshuffled.

    I went back and did a new form in one shot...  it works.  I also conclude that autoresponder should not be updated.  Any slight change will just screw the order.  You only have one shot!

    I think the problem is with autoresponder editor.  Note that when you delete or add row, the shades of line (grey and white) don't get updated. Eg. you get a series or white shade lines or grey shade line.  They don't alternate as they should.  Could this be the issue? cuz these line are the lines get reshuffled.

    Glad to hear your form works now.

    Regarding your issue about the alternate shades of gray and white not being updated, I was trying to replicate it. Unfortunately, it does not happen to my form. Once I insert or delete a row, the alternate of gray and white get messed up for a while but after saving the email template, closing it, saving the form, and opening the email auto-responder template again, the alternate colors of rows get corrected again. Please see GIF below.

     

    Perhaps, when you noticed that the alternate colors of rows did not get updated, it was because the form was not completely saved yet.

    I think you should be able to duplicate the failure if you try to cut and past A, B, C and D in blue in the order as I've shown in my first message.  Please try again.

    I tried Mozilla, still get the same issue.

    Autoresponder works for me only I have created in one shot with no modification, updating etc.  This is really not a solution.  It is simply unrealistic.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, I'm not able to replicate the issue on my end getting such errors. Just like on the other thread, can you try checking which scripts failed to download and can you also try clearing your cache and see if it fixes the problem with the scripts?

    I tried clearing cache, cookies.  No, did not help.  Tried Chrome, Firefox, IE on a different computer... issue persists...

    Anyways, I found a workaround.  Once I created an autoresponder, I deleted all autogenerated contents and start from scratch.  Once I did that, then moving forward I can freely edit the form in any way I like.  You can take a look at my latest autoresponder.
