When i use the data export function to store form submissions, it creates the file OK but when I download it and try to open it, it says it is invalid, it did this on both occasions I tried this.

I am using latest chrome browser, windows 7 PRO OS.

I'd like to have a backup of my form submissions that works, thanks.

I'm sorry to hear about this, I have logged into your account and downloaded both of your earlier exported data files, and they have extracted without any issues on my end:

Can you please try using 7-zip or a similar program for extracting your ZIP archive, rather than default Windows unZIP?

If the file is having troubles being exported even with 7-zip, it could be that the file gotten damaged during download, such as due to a network interruption. In that case, please try opening your browser in Incognito window, log into your JotForm account and go to the following page:

    https://www.jotform.com/myaccount/data

While you are in the incognito window, please try downloading the exported data file again, and then export this newly downloaded file with 7-zip or a similar ZIP program, rather than Windows built-in unZIP.

Please let us know how it goes.

OK using 7-zip it does extract, thanks. Is the windows zip extraction tool not compatible across the board with the created zip files or is this just in some instances like for me?

I was able to extract the data zip file using WinZip and 7-Zip software. However, it is not working in the built-in Windows Zip Extraction tool. This is an issue with the Windows Zip Extraction tool.

If you have any other question, please do let us know. Thank you.
