Why have all of my submission email notifications started going to my junk folder?

Asked by GAbeefboard on August 31, 2016 at 02:01 PM

    Hello!

I use JotForm for application for Team Beef. Every time a submission was made I would receive it in the inbox of my email. As of a couple of weeks ago all of the submissions go to my spam of my email. I've spoken with Tech support on my end and they said it could be something on ya'lls end that could be fixed. Is there anything you can do for me?

To my understanding you are saying that your form email notifications for newly received submissions have pretty much been going to your junk|spam folder as of not too long ago.

The good news is it sounds like you're still at least receiving the emails but, as far as I know we actually don't have any control over where your emails go into your inbox once they've been sent out by our servers. That is usually due to your email host and any filtering settings you have setup.

This issue may have happened if you accidentally marked one as spam or if one was sent there by your filter settings if you have any set up.

Usually a quick fix in those cases is to simply move the email into your main inbox and the rest should follow after marking it as "not spam or junk" which should be option for most email providers.

Also, you could try adding us to your contacts list or whitelisting us to see if that helps.
