Is it possible to compose a screen by drag and drop images on the form?

Asked by silasouza on September 01, 2016 at 02:52 PM

Hello friends of Jotform, how are you?

I would like to create an app design form.

By using it the users can compose the screen of a mobile app, just dragging and dropping imagens into the form.

Take a look to the file attached as example.

Do I have some kind of solution for that?

    Thanks in advance.

It looks like that you are looking for a solution to build a screen similar to prototype of mobile app from the users. If so, unfortunately it is not possible to achieve your requirement since we do not have such widgets available at the moment to drag and drop images to a particular location on the form.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for your answer Kiran.

But maybe I can just arrange the widgets into different locations on the form, no?

What if I use the drag and drop or other widget and change the CSS style to arrange the images like I desire?

If is possible I'd like some help to try to arrange like that example.

    Thanks in advance

The widgets themselves will be difficult to control via css unless it has internal option to add css inside that widget since it's contained within an iframe that would otherwise ignore customizations.

It's possible to add images though and adjust those by themselves with css if they already exist.

Can you please provide us more details about a scenario that this would be useful to benefit both you and including other jotform users?

But, I'm under the impression that part of the problem here might be us not fully understanding what it is that you seek to achieve with doing this.

Hello Kade, thanks for your comments.

Ill try to be more clear about my request.

I want to provide a form to the users in order to allow them draw theirs apps by adding the images in an app screen, to facilitate the devepment by us when we receive it.

So, what we are trying to do is something simpler: they fill the form, drawing the app by adding the images, we receive their forms and use them to develop the apps.

I've made a test form with something that I need to improve and try to organize such as an app screen: https://form.jotformz.com/61965787013666

I just need help to try to put into that app screen format. Can you help me on that?

    thanks

You can replace the upload buttons with the Drag and Drop widget: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/drag_and_drop_upload

    Nevermind. I'll try a workaround.

Is it possible to create a list of multiple fields, such as configurable list, but with some special fields to be inserted?

I would like something like this:

image - drop down - text box

    Thanks in advance.
