Can I make a hidden field in JotForm? Or do I have to go into the html source code and make the change?

When you say "hidden field", do you mean the Hidden Box field? You can find it under the Power Tools section.
And if you're requiring to create a condition that:
If Field A equals to Option 1
Then show Field B
this is very much possible using the Show/Hide conditions as well. The way hide/show conditions work is like this - when a field is involved in a "show" condition, it will remain invisible in a form unless that condition is met. So what you need is a single "show" condition and there is no need for a "hide" one. Same goes for a field involved in a "hide" condition, it shall remain visible unless the condition defined is satisfied by the user.

Here are the conditions I implemented on that form:
Notice that Fields B and C are kept hidden throughout the form and will only display when these respective conditions are satisfied. Choosing any other options in Field A will do nothing.
Hopefully this answers your question. Thanks!

Where is the Power Tools section? I don't see it.

The power tools section has since been removed, having the tools repositioned in other categories.
Free Text (HTML) : Was renamed to Text and moved to Form Tools:
Captcha has been moved to Quick Tools and the Image tool has been moved to Form Tools
The rest of the tools that were under Power tools have been moved to the Widgets category.
Just search for them under the widget category, like so:
