¿How many options is the  maximum number that supports in a Dropdown list?

¿How many options is the  maximum number that supports in a Dropdown list?

As far as I know it can handle unlimited number of options, but do note that this means more work for the browser to process so it may be noted on the time the form takes to load, but so far there is not a limit set to the number of options that you can set.
