I've searched for an answer but I find I get more confused.
I have a file I need a customer to download, however, it's in a PDF format.
How can I upload it so she can download it?

I am assuming this is an external PDF that you would like the users to download.
First you would require to upload the PDF files to your hosting space. If you do not have any hosting space, you can use Google Drive or DropBox to upload your PDF file. Once you have the URL, you may use the HTML TEXT field to create the link so your users may download the PDF.
You can also refer the following document How-to-Display-a-PDF-Document-On-Your-Form to embed the PDF on your JotForms. However, it still needs a PDF link uploaded to your hosting space or Google Drive or Dropbox.
Hope this information helps. Let us know if you have any other questions. We will be happy to help.

Thank you. I've done that, however, customers complain there are inappropriate ads attached or they don't get the file.

I have checked your recent Form https://www.jotform.com/62456603309152 . But I am not able to see PDF URL or any other field in that Form.
Can you please send us the PDF file URL, and the Form ID, where you want to provide the Download PDF file link. Also please confirm in which form, your customers are getting inappropriate ads. And we will gladly assist you.
