Passing payment tool field {sponsorship_level} value to a field on a subsequent page

How do I pass either the full text value or number value of the selected Stripe Subscription level {sponsorship_level} to a field on the next page?  I tried a calc field and just a text field with logic but nothing is showing up.

I am trying to give the donor a summary page of everything they've entered before they complete the purchase.

Unfortunately that is not possible to do in your form https://www.jotform.com/61913536673966 if you will be using the payment tool field (Stripe)

You can do it outside the payment tool, using regular field i.e. Textboxes.

I understand I can do it outside the payment tool.  Where does that leave me with the need for the payment selection?  Do you offer a widget or a way to provide a payment summary screen or table?

What you can do is use a custom payment field (a regular field) and then use it on your payment tool instead.

    User guide: How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field

Since the payment field is just a regular field, you can use the data from that field to generate your summary screen or table.

thanks BDAVID.  I wish that Jotform Support above had said that to begin with instead of "You can do it outside the payment tool, using regular field i.e. Textbooks."  It was clear in my form that I was using subscriptions.

I apologize if it my suggestion confuses you. I research further on a solution that can work for you, and I think what I suggested initially is actually viable.

Here is a test form you can try https://www.jotformpro.com/form/62568471259971

#1 I use the Variable Price option in the subscription options so that I can use Textboxes as the source of the amount.

#2 Then, use Get Price From to assign the value.

I added Textbox and Calculation field on the form.

Since the subscription amount is on Textboxes field you can use that value from the Textbox now for any report or recalculation you want.

I.E. you can use the field name {babyHome} field to anything you need to.

You can also set a default value in the Textboxes and make it Read-Only so that the end-user will not be able to change it.. i.e. set 30USD like what it was suppose to be in the original subscription settings.

Hope this help. Let us know if this cannot work for you.

thank you for finding this work around.  I would hope Jotform considers a widget to address this in an easier way.

First of all, I apologize for my previous reply, I did not remember the option to get the amount from a form field was also available for the subscription payment type, and that it had to be setup through each product,  I am glad my colleague knew about it.

On regards of the interface you are seeing, it looks like the Stripe payment field still loads the old interface. You could do the following:

    1) Save your form, and clear your browsers cache, in order to log back in and bring the new interface.

    OR

    2) Set it up through the old interface. The process is basically the same, here is how to enable the "Variable Price":

    a) Click on the wand icon.

    b) Click the "next" button until you see the products.

    c) Click on one of the products and bellow you will see the "Variable Price" option, simply check the option.

    d) Click on the "Price source" drop down, and select the field where the price will be obtained from.

Now - any way to improve the presentation?  Can you provide some style improvements that will widen the payment widget, make the "calc" provided values look the same as the text its next to and remove the bounding box?

The reason my subscription description is so long is I need this when it gets to the payment gateway to properly categorize my donation in Quickbooks.  ie. Baby's Home - $30 Sponsorship
