Is it possible to duplicate a field from one form to another?

    For example if a relatively complex matrix field was left out of a number of forms, is is possible to just duplicate the matrix field and copy it to the same position in each of the other forms that lacks that field?

    Yes you can. You can use the JotForm Field Manager App to do this.

    Hm. This doesn't work consistently. I see the new cloned field, and then
    re-load the form with the cloned field, and it was the original field...

    Hello Devora,

    I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly. Do you mean to say that when you clone form fields from different form by taking advantage of "Field Manager" app, the cloned field is not the original field which you cloned?

    I did test the field manager app and it seems to work as expected. The cloned field does gets displayed correctly. Please check the screenshot below:

    Sorry - yes it does work just fine - it's me that doesn't work so well in
    the wee hours. Thanks again for letting me know about it. Hopefully
    we'll get our main form to the point where we can just clone all the forms
    off of it, and not have to clone any individual fields (often).
