I have a form named XPoint Delivery Quote. I am having trouble with the delivery charge. I need it to be displayed as currency or an answer like this EXAMPLE $36.95   Please advise.

There are several ways to achieve this. I see that you are currently using a dollar sign in the label of the field itself, so your users will see it is in dollars.

If you want to have the currency sign (dollar sign) inside the field, next to the calculated amount, you can simply edit your calculation and add a dollar sign in front of the calculation.

In other words, you can edit your existing insert conditions from this:

    Into this:

Simply click at the beginning of your insert condition / calculation, and enter a dollar sign.

However, as the currency output field is currently a Number field, it can only accept numeric entries - nothing else. This means that with a Number field you cannot pass dollar signs, or in fact any letters or characters that are not numbers. You would have to use a field of a different type, such as a Text Box field, in order for it to accept dollar signs next to the calculated amount.

If you need any further assistance or clarification, please let us know.

    Hello,

I'm having trouble with this. I've followed the instructions exactly but the $ sign still isn't populating. Is there any situation when this will not occur?
