If adding a password for reports do we need to enter it for each time or can it be stored for later access?

Another question on this front: if we add password control to each of these 16 reports using the same password in all cases, would the user need to re-enter the password on accessing each one, or could his/her browser store the access credentials to eliminate having to re-enter the access code?

I see that you'd like to know more about accessing submission reports with a password.

Currently, it is only possible to access it when logged in on a per instance use.

What I mean by that is it is based on your login usage and temporarily stored to access it so if you are logged in and want to look at it later then that is possible but, if you log out or close your browser then at that point you'd need to re-log in again.

An alternative method would be to use a password manager for quick return.

Also, this is per form report since you have to set it per form for viewing those submission reports.
