Is there a way to alphabetize the drop down menu selections?

I want to be able to alphabetize the selections in the drop-down menu without having to manually move everything on my own. Ideas? 

Unfortunately, I don't see the way to do that on drop-down field directly, but as a workaround, I would suggest:

1. Copy all values from Drop-down field, then paste all them in Excel spreadsheet and sort them there

2. Paste all them in Excel spreadsheet and sort them there,

3. Copy and paste them back to the drop-down field.
