Why is it that my form doesnt work in different browsers.

Asked by Renske on April 18, 2012 at 10:12 AM

In Google Chrome on a windows everything works perfectly.

On a mac using safari the colors are different then the original.

On Internet Explorer nothing works, the browser also creates a link in a submit link the same as in Firefox on a mac.

( original link in my form : http://form.jotformeu.com/form/21013842021334

( The link IE and Firefox creates : http://submit.jotformeu.com/submit/21081508595354/ )

http://form.jotformeu.com/form/21081508595354 This is the link to my homepage

Please help because its getting annoying

We apologise for what this issue has caused you. The link you provided for "( The link IE and Firefox creates : http://submit.jotformeu.com/submit/21081508595354/ )" is not correct as i get error of Form ID not found. You can find form id as shown by this guide; http://jotform.com/help/34-Adding-a-Form-to-a-Web-Page

I am using IE8 and your form link stated above, original link in my form : http://form.jotformeu.com/form/21013842021334  works fine with no issue.

This might  be a problem/conflict with the page. If there is a conflict with your page, try using the IFrame code. Here is how you can get it. Open your form on the Form Builder:

    1. Open "Setup & Embed" tab on toolbar,

    2. Click on "Embed Form"

    3. Click on "iFrame".

Please lets know if the same issue persists,

Could you please provides the external URL where the form is embedded if any??

I would suggest you to embed your form using the iFrame method, please follow the guide my colleague Mathew has suggested you and copy the URL directly from step 3
