Is the 100 MB limit (free) and 1000MB limit (professional) total uploads?

Is the file upload space limit the calculated by the space that you can have in your Dropbox/JotForm folder at any given time? Or is that the total amount of uploads you can have at all?

Also, since I'm using jotforms with dropbox, I don't understand why I'm using jotbox diskspace for submissions. Shouldn't those be handled by my dropbox account?

I'm happy to pay for 1000 submissions a month, but if I'm limited to 1gb of total uploads for a month, it won't work for me, and for what I do the $49 per month would be too much on top of dropbox.

After three  submissions I'm  already getting the "this form is over quota" message.

The limit pertains to the total amount of space per account.

Files needed to be saved on JotForm's servers first before getting delivered to your Dropbox account, hence, it will take up space on your JotForm account.

A good practice would be to delete submissions with huge files in order to keep your storage meter down. This will allow you to accept more files on your free JotForm account.

Thanks Goldo. I see now. The MB limit per month isn't the total amount of uploads made, but the amount still on the jotform server. I figured out that I need to go in and delete the submissions off the server after I've retreived them from dropbox in order to not exceed the server space limit.

Nice service. I already upgraded. I love the easy integration.

It would be nice though to have an auto delete option once  the file has been removed from the  dropbox folder, sothe site automatically removes the attached file from the server, rather than requiring an extra step.

Thanks for trusting in us and upgrading your account to enjoy more benefits. I am sure the reason why the auto-delete feature is not the option is to minimise accidental deletion of data that may prove important or be needed in future, hence making it manual ensures that one is really sure about deleting the files before doing so.

I wish to make a correction on above please, the storage space limit is not a per month basis but rather a maximum capacity for your account. You can however free some space in your account by deleting old forms and continue enjoying the service without any interuption.
