How to prevent or understand consequences of multiple form changes when only one change was intended

I have selected a Contact Us template. I like it, mostly.

When I make one change using the Advanced Designer, like Label Color, or Font, the background then turns white rather than transparent or nothing.

From the defaulted template, I want to change 1) the Title color, font; 2) the label fonts, color; and 3) add a couple new fields. I want to retain the see through character of the form.

    Thanks.

If I understand your above issue correctly it seems to me that you're trying to adjust a cloned form template to stylize it more to your liking but are unable to do so due to a few unexpected changes which are occurring when editing it.

I've taken a look at your first form but it appears the one you shared was already stripped of the background since this is what I am seeing right now after cloning it.

You got this from our templates gallery and not our themes gallery correct?

We literally have thousands of form themes and templates to use so I have taken a little bit of time to search for this exact one but unless you revert or provide us a link it may take me awhile to locate that particular template to investigate and troubleshoot it for you.

If it's a cloned template then the changes should work but if it's a theme then that will be more difficult since "themes" ignore and override most changes.
