Why is the HTML code showing in the subject line of submission e-mails?

Asked by CIWisc on April 18, 2012 at 04:03 PM

Can you please help me fix the problem of HTML coding appearing in the subject line of a submitted form?  Here is an example or two...

    Subject MRI of Brain - "Pharmacy03" (123456)

CT of Shoulder (LEFT)<br>Hindlimb (RIGHT) - "TEST FOR EMAIL3" (1249)

It's very distracting and I'm hoping that you might be able to help.  This happens in Firefox and IE8.

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

Try switching your notification message to Text Mode. Just go to Setup & Embed >> Email Alerts >> Open your Notification and click 'Switch to Text Mode' on the Compose Email window.

If that doesn't help, try recreating your notification message, simply delete the existing ones and create a new one. See if that helps.

Let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks for using JotForm, have a great day!
