MultiSelect Grid: Using widget without it blocking previously selected slots

How can I just use this grid to collect responses from users without it blocking previously selected cells? I know I could use the matrix but it is utterly ugly, outdated and though to style through CSS... (yes, I've tried)

Please an alternative or the CSS code to modify the regular matrix to look and feel like this...

This is not currently possible to use the MultiSelect Grid widget without it blocking the previously selected items. I have sent a feature request ticket to our developers to see if this is something that can be implemented at some point. We will let you know if we have any updates.

To style the Matrix field in a similar way, you can try the next CSS:

    Result:

Note, that we cannot replace the check boxes with a highlight selection effect of the MultiSelect Grid.

Ok this not optimal but it'll do the job for now... any other alternative you suggest? and if not, then can we affect the size of the checkboxes by using css?

    Thanks.

    Here is updated CSS:

You can change the size of the styled checkboxes by adjusting height and width as shown on the following screenshot.

    Thank you.
