If I understood you correctly, you want to force your users to enter 2 decimals in number field. Unfortunately that is not possible to achieve with Number field. However you can achieve this with Text Box field. First set Validation of your text box field to Numeric.

Then set Input Mask for that field.

Here is my demo form: https://form.jotform.com/62572350374960

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

I am using number field to respond to a conditional logic statement and
would like the field to show the answer to 2 decimal places. Maybe I should
be using a different field here.

Thank you for providing us additional information. You are passing value to number field with your conditions. I have inspected your conditions and I saw that you are passing value 150 to field Course 101.

If i understood you correctly, you want to pass 150.00 instead of 150. To achieve that add .00 to your value inside of condition. Also when you add dot click on it to be gray.

Only issue with this is that passed value will be rounder to one decimal.

To resolve this issue you can gray out all values after 150.

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Currently Max Size of your field Course 101 is set to 3. You can increase Max Size to 6 or you can remove Max Size by setting it to 0, to resolve mentioned issue.

You will need to do this for all number fields, for which you have set Max Size limit.

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
