    Hello

We are looking to build a form that if a client selects an item from the drop down box

the next 1 or 2 boxes would be completed automatically depending on the item they selected.

We use excel at the moment and when you select the 'format' the 'branch' and 'telephone' numbers are entered automatically

    See screen shot

Is this possible with Jot Form?

    Many thanks

Yes, it is possible to automatically fill another field with data depending on the item selected from the dropdown box. You can achieve this by adding an Update/Calculate Condition on your form. Here's a guide on how to set it up: How to Insert Text or Mathematical Calculation into a Field Using Conditional Logic.

Here's a sample condition that I have setup:

This is how it should work:

You can also clone my demo form to your account to see how I set it up: https://form.jotform.com/62572213619960
Simply select Option 1 from the Format dropdown.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.
    Regards.
