Do not submit form when the user hit the enter key

As noted by others, I don't want to have every field required; some are optional. The some fields will be blank, and others will be filled.

This is really, really dumb. People naturally hit "Enter" and expect to get to the next line or field, not submit the form. In that case -- why even have a "Submit" button at all?

How is adding a Javascript to the code "resolved"? It's a feature that your customers have been asking for for FOUR years. Why not implement it? And if you're saying you can't implement it, then why would we have confidence in your company going forward?

Sorry for the inconvenience. As of now, the way to prevent form from submitting when hitting the Enter key is by adding the Javascript code. Some users also prefer to have the Enter key to submit there form. I will send a feature request ticket regarding this to our development team so they can add a setting where user can enable/disable enter key submission. We will inform you any updates to the feature request ticket here on this thread.

Please add me to the list. This is really an important function for our website. Enter/Return is a natural button for people to press while completing a form. Unfortunately it jumps down to the first "required field" and shows all the red flags throughout the form - drastically detracting from the look and feel of our form.

    Thanks! shawn@superiorlandscape-irrigation.com
