Prevent form submit when hitting Enter keyAsked by dcampagna on September 14, 2016 at 12:25 PM
As noted by others, I don't want to have every field required; some are optional. The some fields will be blank, and others will be filled.
This is really, really dumb. People naturally hit "Enter" and expect to get to the next line or field, not submit the form. In that case -- why even have a "Submit" button at all?
Please add me to the list. This is really an important function for our website. Enter/Return is a natural button for people to press while completing a form. Unfortunately it jumps down to the first "required field" and shows all the red flags throughout the form - drastically detracting from the look and feel of our form.
In order to properly escalate your feature request to our second level I have moved it to another link, you will find it here: https://www.jotform.com/answers/956244
We will be glad to assist you on that thread as soon as possible.
