    Delete submissions: Unable to delete multiple submissions based on select time range

    Good morning,

     

    I have this problem that has been going on for a few months now, and it is now getting even worse. I have in my storage about 100k forms. I need to delete at least half of those, but when I select the time range , even if I just select ONE DAY, and press delete submissions I keep getting an error (see attachment). I can delete one or two submissions at the time, at this rate it will take me waaay too long to delete 50k. Could you please solve this huge problem before I really run out of space?

    Sorry for inconvenience this may caused you. Is this happening on one of your forms or on all of your forms when you select time range and try to delete submissions? 

    I have tried to delete submissions on one of my forms, based on select time range, but I was not able to replicate mentioned issue.

    Can you please try to use another browser or another device and see if the same issue still persist. 

    If the issue still persist, please provide us ID of the form you are having issues with and tell us which submissions you want to delete.

    Hi there,

    thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I have tried on different machines and different internet connections and different browsers etc. The error persists, perhaps it is due to the attachments of each submission, I wouldn't know though. The form IDs are:

    formID=32112405218945

    formID=32752015454954

     

    Please delete all submissions and attachments from the years 2013 and 2014 for both forms.

    Thank you for providing us additional information. 

    I will raise this issue to our developers and we will inform you via this thread one once this issue is resolved. 

    I would also suggest you to backup your data. You can download your submissions as Excel/CSV/PDF

    First of all, thank you for checking the status of your ticket. Unfortunately, there is no update yet. However, one of our developers was already assigned to fix the issue.     Just to clarify "Unhappy user" and "sarahcons" are the same person. I understand you are still working on a fix for the issue, but could you please proceed with the deletion from your end of the submissions in the time range specified above as I am reaching the space limit.

    Otherwise could I suggest to increase temporarily and free of charge my storage space until you are able to resolve the issue?

    File storage is not something we can temporarily increase on our end.  I will send a request to the developer assigned to this to see if they have any updates on the status.  I am hesitant to attempt deleting the submissions from my end in the off chance I remove something that shouldn't be.  We will let you know, hopefully soon, when we have any updates.

    If your account does go over limit in the mean time, let us know and we will make sure your forms remain active.

    Hi

    The problem was happening because of a combination of the large amounts of submissions and each submission containing uploads/attachments. Our backend processing has now been improved fix this problem.

    The 2013/2014 submissions have been deleted for both forms and your available upload space has been updated accordingly.

    We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
