What counts as a form view?Asked by LindaSeidel on September 15, 2016 at 10:37 AM
I received a message that we are almost at our limit of 1,000 form views for the month of September. The form is accessed through a button/pop up window on our main page and through the menu clicking on Contact Us. In the same period, we have had 2 submissions.
Per Google Analytics, we have had 1,016 sessions on our website for the last 30 days.
How are Form Views counted? How is it possible to have 994 Form Views with only 1,016 website visitors?
Embedded forms are viewed each time the page is loaded. It does not require clicking the pop-up to count as a view. Loading the button is counted as loading the form. Replacing the pop up form with a link to the form instead will ensure that only users who would like to fill out the form are viewing it.
