Credit card hold for reservationsAsked by Bardenay on September 15, 2016 at 03:55 PM
We require a valid credit card to make a reservation in one of our catering facilities. The card is not charged, just kept on file for incidentals. Is there a way to take the credit card and have it held with a jot form, not charged?
First off, I can see there are some forms where you are asking for Credit Card information through plain text fields, please do note that this is not allowed at JotForm and your account can be suspended if you keep asking for this info.
Here are the forms as well as a screenshot of the guilty fields.
I have removed those fields in order to avoid get your account suspended, please also read our terms where it is stated that you cannot ask for CC info or any other confidential information: http://www.jotform.com/terms/
Now, if you need to collect payment info and do not charge your submitter immediately you will need to use a payment integration, there are some of them that allow you to do this, please take a look on this guide where you will find more info about how to enable payment authorization feature: How-to-Enable-Payment-Authorization
