Submission Excel: Can we receive file upload links as hyperlinks?

Links to file passed to spreadsheet are not clickable (plain) texts.

I don't know if it is related to the previous inconvenience: during my tests i created one more Excel report. I opened the report with Libreoffice Calc version 5.1.5.2 (my default application for spreadsheet). I saw that all the links of images in that report are textual and represented with full path, but not active.

Wouldn't it be better to have a clickable link there, too? is a LO problem? if you need, here is the link to the report: https://eu.jotform.com/excel/62594244154053

Apologies for any inconvenience. Although I do not have LibreOffice installed, I have checked it with Microsoft Excel and it is showing me the same. However, I believe this can be fixed by making the cells recognize links or by converting the texts manually.

If you want I can submit a request to our developers on your behalf to make the links clickable when passed to spreadsheets. However, there is no guarantee that this will be updated anytime soon. But once it gets updated, you will be notified via this thread.

Hi Mike_G, thanks for your reply and your test.

I did as you suggested and it works. Nevertheless one have to select the cell, copy the text, insert the hyperlink and save every row one by one. I had few rows but it took some time however. Moreover all this have to be done every time you run the report if there is the need.

My need is solved at the moment, but I think that it could be better to have directly a link clickable on the spreadsheet. In my opinion a request could be rised to developers and if in the future this will be done it will be a good help.

    Many thanks again.

    Claudio

We have added a feature request ticket to our system. However, we cannot provide any ETA for when or if it can be implemented. This thread will be updated if we have any updates.
