    Dear JotFrom,

Is there anyway to add a radio label to a multiple Text Field Widget?  I would like each line of the text field to have its on radio button or a check box.

For example,in the form below, if you scroll down to the expenses, could there be a way to denote if the amount was per month or per year?

    Thanks for your help,

    Anne

Hi Anne, I'm afraid that can't be done with the Multiple Text Fields widget. More often than not, widgets are designed to perform only specific things. In this case, the goal of the Multiple Text Fields widget is to allow you to add a customized group of text fields on your form.

Other than that, you won't be able to customize it further. One alternative is to just use plain textbox fields instead of using the widget, then add a corresponding radio button.

You may also consider using other widgets like the Configurable List widget http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/configurable_list Here's a quick guide on how to set it up: How-to-Set-Up-the-Configurable-List-Widget

I'll see if I can come up with a demo form that will show you how it would look like. I'll keep you posted on this same thread so you can see an example.

All right, here's a form I came up with. The only widget that I can think of that will allow you a mix of textboxes and radio buttons is the Configurable List however, with Textboxes, it appends them in a single row instead of multiple rows.

As a workaround, I have used a Dropdown menu instead, showing all the Expenses that your respondents can pick, then have them select whether it's Monthly or Annually.

You may clone my test form by following this guide How-to-clone-an-existing-form-from-a-URL so you can see how it was setup.

    ?Dear Jim,
Thanks for your help with the radio button.
I have another question about the multiple text fields. Is there anyway to increase the length of the label so that i can get the text all on one row?

    Thanks,
    Anne

Hello Anne, since we strive to stick with 1 topic per thread, I have moved your question to a separate thread here https://www.jotform.com/answers/937434
