Please explain submission storage.  We just paid for an upgrade but i'm not sure we really need it.  Is this because of past data stored on your servers? Is there a way for us to delete historical data for forms we have deleted?  We don't need any historical data prior to Jan 2016.  Please let us know our options. We are a non-profit and trying to keep unnecessary expenses down.

    Kindly,

    Hi Lorraine,

Please refer also to the pricing page here https://www.jotform.com/pricing

You can see that Monthly submissions, Upload storage space, and Total Submissions Storage were 3 different things.

Total Submission storage is the allowed submission storage allocation you have base on the subscription plan you have. I.E. for BRONZE plan, it is Unlimited, for FREE plan, it is 500.

This is not the Upload storage (when you upload files using your form).

The Monthly Submission limit is the only one that reset every month. The Total Submission storage does not.

You can delete past submission data on your form and it will only affect your monthly submission total. The Total submission storage record is not affected by any decrease/deletion of submission data.

You can delete historical submission data in your form View Submission panel.

Hope this is clearer. Let us know if you require further assistance.
