How to have a Number grid that allows limited multiple selections

    Hi,

I am trying to create a grid of numbers to sell, almost like a Keno grid.

We are doing an event where we are selling 200 numbered golf balls.  Those 200 numbered golf balls are going to be dropped from a helicopter on a target.  The ball closest to the bulls eye wins $1000.

Soooo.  if I buy 3 golf balls, and choose my lucky numbers, 7, 27, 80, then I make my choices on the grid and those 3 numbers are not available to anyone else.

Is it possible to create such a grid?

    Thank you.

    Hi Jan,

You can use the Gift Registry widget as your picklist grid. Link : https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/gift_registry

It will work by setting the each ball #'s count to 1 only. This means once that ball# was already pick, it will run out of count (0) and will not be available anymore for other picker.

Here is a test form https://form.jotform.com/62607857462969

    it work like this...

Hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Awedome- thank you.  How did you get it to go in columns like that?  I am typing in # sign and digit but would love to split it in 2 columns.

    Thank you.
How do I spread it into 2 columns of numbers. Right now it is just one
    long list.
Also, I am trying to figure out the conditions.
If I chose the radial button that I want to purchase 1 chopper dropper
ball, then I need the gift registry to limit me to selecting 1 of the 200
    numbers
If I chose the radial button that I want to purchase 3 chopper dropper
balls, then I need the gift registry to require/limit me to selecting 3 of
    the 200 numbers.
Is this type of interaction possible?

You need to add two Gift Registry widgets:

In order to place them side by side, follow these steps:

    1) Shrink the fields.

    2) Increase the form width.

On regards of conditions, it will not be possible to set a max selection based on a condition. Let us know if you have more questions

    OK, got it.
I will leave it all in one wizard.
Another question- I have already pre sold about 12 balls, can I as the
administrator go ahead and mark off those ball numbers?
    Thanks,

    Hello Jan,

You can set a value of 0 on the ones that you want to appear in the list but no longer available.

After updating, it should cross out the availability of the certain ball you have set as 0.

    Thanks.

so when I use regular parentheses, it shows up on the page. is there a
special code, or parentheses tool to hide that number?

I am using a apple macbook air. I am seeing a funny shaped bracket/
parentheses next to the letter "p". Is that what I should type in? Upper
    or lower case?

    Hello Jan,

If what you mean is the curly brackets { }, yes that's what you will need to use and insert your the number in between.
