"No. The Preview will not be counted against your form views. It will also not count it if the form is viewed by yourself while you are logged in - even if the form is embedded on your website.
This means that form views only count if someone else views the form. The same applies if you are not logged into the system while checking it."
But it does count as a view if I preview the form, at least by choosing "open in a new tab". And I am logged in when doing this.
I have 30+ views on my form says the account details, and I have never shared my form with anyone, not even in the forums by leaving a link. It's still under development, so I haven't shared it yet. But then all those views must come from somewhere, and if it's not by me while logged in, then who?
Being able to reset the counter is a workaround, but not a solution if you can only do it once.
So the information you've posted here is a bit misleading and confusing really, I hope you can understand that. :)

If you are clicking the "Preview" button while editing your form, it will not count as a form view. I tested with a few of my own forms and when I preview from the form builder, no views are tallied. When you click on "open in new tab" from the preview, it is doing just that, opening the form in a new tab. It is no longer previewing the form.
